Last Wednesday, 19 March, saw the Annual Spring Show taking place in Drimpton Village Hall. We were all a bit worried that the recent wet weather would result in a minimum number of entries, and although the tulips were rare and the bowls of club daffodils were a lot smaller than usual, there were still many excellent entries and 22 members exhibited, each exhibiting a number of items. It turned out to be a very enjoyable & social evening with the main awards going to: Brian Hesketh for photography, Jo Hemmings for her excellent marble cake & Julie Moses took the trophy for the most first prizes in show.
